Basketball Game Preview: Walton Braves vs. Freeport Bulldogs

The Walton Braves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Freeport Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row dating back to last season, Walton finally turned things around against Wiregrass on Monday. They breezed by the Kings to the tune of 68-35.

Meanwhile, Freeport waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Gators 69-67.

The victory got Walton back to even at 1-1. As for Freeport, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Walton took their win against Freeport in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 62-36. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Freeport's Julius Miles, who posted 19 points and seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Walton still be able to contain Miles? There's only one way to find out.
