Basketball Game Preview: Neighborhood House Charter Legends vs. Boston Latin Academy Dragons

The Neighborhood House Charter Legends and the Boston Latin Academy Dragons will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neighborhood House Charter will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Neighborhood House Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Academy of the Pacific Rim 74-25 on Wednesday. The Legends have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 40 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neighborhood House Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Denyah Upshaw, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Karin Richardson, who posted 20 points in addition to seven steals and five assists.

Neighborhood House Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Boston Latin Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Southeastern RVT, falling 56-27. The Dragons were down 46-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Neighborhood House Charter's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Boston Latin Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
