Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They were dealt an 84-25 defeat at the hands of the University Prep Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Abes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 669th, while the Panthers are ranked 234th).

Lincoln has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. University Prep pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University Prep, they will take on Osborn in a tournament on Friday. Osborn's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so University Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
