Volleyball Recap: West Port Wolf Pack vs. St. Cloud Bulldogs
West Port's tournament run continued when they took on St. Cloud on Saturday. The Wolf Pack took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.
West Port's offense was headlined by Gaveena Smith and Natalia Rivera, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Mikaela Dos Santos and her six assists. Eneidys Maysonet controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Samantha Fernandez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five games. Tessa Rojas also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Cloud, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
West Port wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Weeki Wachee on the 6th. As for St. Cloud, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Foundation Academy on the 6th.
