West Anchorage has gone a perfect 10-0 against Eagle River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Eagle River took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Anchorage, who comes in off a win.

West Anchorage is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Juneau-Douglas on Saturday as they made off with a 7-1 win. With West Anchorage ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Juneau-Douglas with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luca Driscoll (2), Musa Marrah (2), Noah Robinson (2), and Griffin Cain.

Meanwhile, Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Bartlett.

West Anchorage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Eagle River, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

West Anchorage was able to grind out a solid win over Eagle River in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 3-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
