Basketball Game Preview: Lithia Springs Lions vs. Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs

The Lithia Springs Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Lithia Springs will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating South Paulding, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Lithia Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against South Paulding on Friday, sneaking past 57-54. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Spartans are ranked 129th).

Meanwhile, Kennesaw Mountain hadn't done well against North Cobb recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Kennesaw Mountain had just enough and edged North Cobb out 45-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Kennesaw Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lithia Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
