Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Christian Eagles vs. East Palestine Bulldogs

Valley Christian is 0-10 against East Palestine since September of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Valley Christian came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Southern.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-6, 25-10.

Meanwhile, East Palestine came up short against United on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for East Palestine, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Valley Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from East Palestine in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
