Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Indians vs. Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines + Official Tickets

The Franklin Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Franklin earned a 3-1 win over Perry Hall.

Franklin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-10, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Western Tech & Environmental Science was able to grind out a solid victory over Carver A&T on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Franklin better keep an eye on Natalia Wilson. She was instrumental in Western Tech & Environmental Science's win, getting seven aces.

Franklin's record now sits at 9-2. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their record is now 6-4.

Franklin couldn't quite get it done against Western Tech & Environmental Science in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
