Volleyball Recap: Paola Panthers vs. Parsons Vikings
With a playoff game on the line, Paola rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Parsons Vikings by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
Paola never let Parsons on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.
Paola's offense was headlined by

Brylynn Wicker, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from
Kinzley Meinig and her 13 assists.
Ellie Trachsel controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
The victory made it two in a row for Paola and bumps their season record up to 22-12. As for Parsons, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18-5.
Paola has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hayden on the 26th. Parsons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
