Basketball Recap: Grandview Heights Takes a Loss

Grandview Heights lost against Columbus School for Girls back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grandview Heights Bobcats fell 43-34 to the Columbus School for Girls Unicorns. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Grandview Heights still got an impressive performance from Tatum Lusher, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Lusher's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Claire Callif, who posted eight points.

Grandview Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Columbus School for Girls, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Grandview Heights will face off against Whitehall-Yearling at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Lusher and Kyeona Myers. As for Columbus School for Girls, they will take on Bexley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bexley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Columbus School for Girls surely won't give up without a fight.
