Findlay piles up the points against Springfield

Recap: Findlay Trojans vs. Springfield Blue Devils

The Findlay Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 28 points or more this season. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 66-38 victory over Springfield. Given Findlay's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Springfield is ranked 701st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Drew Martin and Kai Taylor certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Martin scored seven points, while Taylor scored nine points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season.

The win was the third in a row for Findlay, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Springfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Findlay will head out on the road to face off against Anthony Wayne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Anthony Wayne is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Springfield, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Clay at 7:15 p.m. on December 19th. Clay has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three matchups.
