Recap: Williston-Elko Blue Devils vs. Calhoun County Saints
The Williston-Elko Blue Devils lost against the Calhoun County Saints back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Williston-Elko received a tough blow as they fell 68-49 to Calhoun County.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calhoun County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Theron Cokley, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cokley has scored all season. Jayden Wallace was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Williston-Elko has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Calhoun County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
Williston-Elko won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 8:00 p.m. on February 9th. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three matches. Calhoun County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
