Volleyball Recap: Andover Wins High-Profile Match Against Elk River

Andover faced Elk River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Huskies came out on top against the Elks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Wednesday.

While Andover won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21.

The win made it two in a row for Andover and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Elk River, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Andover will venture away from home to square off against Coon Rapids at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elk River, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Blaine on the 26th.
