Basketball Recap: North Side Takes a Loss

North Side lost against Arlington Heights back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Side Steers had to suffer through a 63-12 loss at the hands of the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets. The Steers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-6.

North Side's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Acealynn Gray, who posted six points.

North Side dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Arlington Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-8.

North Side will venture away from home to take on Wyatt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Side is facing Wyatt at the right time seeing as Wyatt is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Arlington Heights will take on Paschal in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
