Basketball Recap: Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Takes a Loss

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 83-23 defeat at the hands of the Freeman Scotties. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Scotties are ranked 20th).

Micah Hodges was the offensive standout of the match as he posted 23 points. Vance Coyner was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Freeman, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna has already played their next game, a 54-44 victory against Upper Columbia Academy on the 21st. As for Freeman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-38 win against Lake Roosevelt on the 18th.
