Basketball Recap: Lamoille Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Connor Deering and Brayden Klein

LaMoille lost against Henry-Senachwine back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The LaMoille Lions lost to the Henry-Senachwine Mallards on the road by a 52-37 margin. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LaMoille's loss came despite strong showings from Brayden Klein and Connor Deering. Klein went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points and six rebounds, while Deering almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. That's the most points Deering has posted since back in January.

LaMoille's record now sits at 3-6. As for Henry-Senachwine, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the LaMoille Lions challenge the Leland Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Leland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Henry-Senachwine, they will challenge Roanoke-Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
