Baseball Recap: Melcher-Dallas Wins Going Away Against Moulton-Udell

Melcher-Dallas had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Moulton-Udell on Saturday. The Saints were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Saints have won four contests by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Melcher-Dallas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Moulton-Udell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
