Durant blew Alburnett out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Alburnett got their revenge. The Wildcats fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 10-8.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Alburnett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Durant by a score of 7-4 later that day.
