Recap: Andress Eagles vs. Burges Mustangs
The Andress Eagles won the last time they faced the Burges Mustangs, and things went their way on Friday too. Andress snuck past Burges with a 28-24 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Andress.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andress to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erick Blucher, who picked up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Wilson and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Andress' victory.
Despite the loss, Burges still got an impressive performance from Kayleb Hannah, who rushed for 309 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. Hannah's longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards.
Andress is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Burges, their loss was their fifth straight at home , which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Andress will take on Chapin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burges, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
