Softball Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Woden's Winning Streak

Woden fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Shelbyville on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 1st.

Jolette Montoya was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Taylor, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
