Recap: Crawford Rams vs. Potter-Dix Coyotes

The Crawford Rams entered their tilt with the Potter-Dix Coyotes with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Crawford walked away with a 41-28 victory over Potter-Dix on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Crawford, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Crawford was led to victory by Kaylee Juhnke and Britney Klein. Juhnke scored four points along with 13 rebounds and seven steals, while Klein dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Klein has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sage Dyer, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Despite the loss, Potter-Dix still got an impressive performance from Madison Williamson, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That was a full 64.3% of Potter-Dix's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Crawford pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Potter-Dix, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crawford will take on Cody-Kilgore at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cody-Kilgore focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Wednesday. As for Potter-Dix, they will be playing at home against Garden County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Garden County is ranked 251st, while Potter-Dix is ranked 255th).
