Basketball Game Preview: Remsen Rams vs. New York Mills Marauders

Remsen is 1-9 against New York Mills since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Remsen Rams will square off against the New York Mills Marauders at 7:00 p.m.

Remsen is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell 58-46 to Dolgeville.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for New York Mills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Sauquoit Valley on Tuesday, sneaking past 47-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Marauders have posted since January 12th.

New York Mills' win came from a few key players Remsen will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was David Goodfriend, who posted 16 points and four steals. Ra'Id Adams was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

The victory got New York Mills back to even at 1-1. As for Remsen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Remsen came up short against New York Mills when the teams last played back in February, falling 59-53. Can Remsen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
