Football Recap: Poly Prep Country Day Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Everything came up roses for the Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils against Varsity Opponent on Saturday as the team secured a 42-6 victory. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Devils this season.

Poly Prep Country Day can attribute much of their success to Nate Rosenblatt, who picked up 47 receiving yards and two TDs.

The win made it two in a row for Poly Prep Country Day and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Poly Prep Country Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Hackley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 74-12 defeat against Drayton on the 4th.
