Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Hope). They claimed a resounding 76-44 win over the Lafayette Commodores. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for New Hope and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Lafayette, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hope will face off against West Lowndes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette, they will take on Pontotoc at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pontotoc will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lafayette surely won't give up without a fight.
