Volleyball Recap: Corona Takes a Loss

Corona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves.

Corona's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Corona and Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will both be playing Hawthorne Math & Science Academy the next time they take the court. Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will head out to face Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Corona will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
