East hadn't beaten North on the road since October 5, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Aces came out on top against the RedHawks by a score of 2-0. The Aces were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the RedHawks, so the Aces were just returning the favor.

Claire Buss paced East's offense, picking up ten kills. Buss got some help from Birdie Buell and her 19 assists. Miya Respress controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why North lost, don't look at Sydney Araiza. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and two aces. Araiza is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

East is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for North, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

East has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West on the 9th. As for North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Goddard on the 13th.
