Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andale walked away with it. They skirted past the Clay Center Tigers 2-1. The Indians are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 23 straight.

Andale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Andale's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abbi Winter, who had 17 assists and nine digs. That's the most digs Winter has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Aouad, who had 18 assists and eight digs.

Andale's victory bumped their record up to 35-1. As for Clay Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 40-4.

Andale has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hayden on the 1st. As for Clay Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Paola on the 1st.
