Basketball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips suffered their biggest defeat since January 23rd on Friday. They came up short against the Marathon Red Raiders, falling 83-58. The loss continues a trend for the Loggers in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Marathon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Phillips will square off against Three Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Marathon, they will face off against Wittenberg-Birnamwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
