Volleyball Recap: Compass - Midtown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Compass - Midtown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the KIPP Collegiate phoenix 3-2.

Compass - Midtown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 20-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-11.

The win got Compass - Midtown back to even at 1-1. As for KIPP Collegiate, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Compass - Midtown is set to challenge their familiar foe Memphis Rise Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, KIPP Collegiate will take on rival Crosstown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
