Soccer Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Orland Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Oroville's record now sits at 3-10-1. As for Orland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-3.

Oroville and Orland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Oroville will take on Corning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 848 places (1105 vs. 257). Similarly, Orland (ranked 549th) will meet Las Plumas (ranked 204th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
