Recap: Washington Union Panthers vs. Immanuel Eagles

If the Washington Union Panthers were feeling good off their 69-45 takedown of the Reedley Pirates last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Washington Union lost to Immanuel on the road by a decisive 75-57 margin on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

That's the first time this season that Woods posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Kado Felder, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Washington Union has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Immanuel, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Washington Union won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Corcoran at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th. Corcoran is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. As for Immanuel, they will head out on the road to square off against Central Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Valley Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
