Softball Recap: Johnsburg Skyhawks vs. Sandwich Indians
Johnsburg made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sandwich, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Skyhawks fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Skyhawks have suffered since March 17th.
Johnsburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Nethaway, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was Nethaway's first of the season. Kayla Riener was another, going 3-for-4 with one run.
Johnsburg is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12. As for Sandwich, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.
