Baseball Recap: Norton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Norton never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Cloverleaf Colts 11-0. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Norton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Cloverleaf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Norton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
