Basketball Recap: Grove City Comes Up Short

Grove City has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hickory Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 55-50 defeat two weeks ago.

Grove City's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Hickory, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Grove City nor Hickory have any future games scheduled.
