Basketball Recap: Manhattan Gets the Win

Manhattan won the last time they faced Hayden and things went their way on Friday too. The Manhattan Indians had just enough and edged the Hayden Wildcats out 45-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted against the Wildcats since February 26, 2021.

Manhattan's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Hayden, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Manhattan and Hayden could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Manhattan (ranked 190th) will meet McPherson (ranked 22nd) at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hayden will take on Augusta on January 24th down 108 places (153 vs. 45).
