Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Takes a Loss

Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Goleman Gators. If the Thoroughbreds were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Gators when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hialeah couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Goleman a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 30-28, 25-21.

Goleman found their leader in sophomore Adrian Alexander Morales, who had nine digs and five assists.

Hialeah's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Goleman, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Hialeah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Miami Beach on the 10th. As for Goleman, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Varela on the 10th.
