Basketball Recap: Billingsley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Billingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 77-48 defeat at the hands of the Marion Rams. The Bears were down 64-38 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Billingsley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Rawlinson, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Rawlinson has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kyson Thomas, who scored seven points and five boards.

Billingsley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Marion, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Billingsley will face off against Breakthrough Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion, they will take on Hatch at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
