Soccer Recap: New Albany Starts off Right with Win over Bullitt East

New Albany had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bullitt East Chargers a 1-0 shutout. New Albany wouldn't have won without Joseph Lutgens, who scored the game-winner.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bullitt East fell to 1-1-2.

Coming up, New Albany will challenge Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bullitt East, they will host Shelby County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
