Basketball Game Preview: South Oldham Dragons vs. Anderson County Bearcats

The South Oldham Dragons just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Anderson County Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in South Oldham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

South Oldham is returning to their home court after beating Fairdale on theirs, despite the fact Fairdale has dominated at home this season. South Oldham sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-67 win over Fairdale on Monday.

Meanwhile, Anderson County ended up a good deal behind Owen County on Saturday and lost 55-38.

South Oldham pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.5 points over those games. As for Anderson County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

South Oldham was able to grind out a solid win over Anderson County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 61-53. Does South Oldham have another victory up their sleeve, or will Anderson County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
