Recap: Patterson Tigers vs. Vacaville Bulldogs
The Patterson Tigers were the 51-42 winner over the Vacaville Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Patterson fell 70-59 to Vacaville on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Patterson came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Vacaville is ranked 297th).
Despite the loss, Patterson still got an impressive performance from David Nnaji, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The contest was Nnaji's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Doug Avelar, who scored 12 points.
Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Vacaville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
