Baseball Recap: Waupun Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Waupun couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 14-1 to the Seymour Thunder on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since May 5th.

Waupun's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

Waupun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they will square off against Aquinas on the 18th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunder 2.6, the Blugolds 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
