Baseball Game Preview: Akins Eagles vs. Hays Hawks

The Akins Eagles will start their season against the Hays Hawks. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hays is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Wimberley. Hays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over Wimberley on Saturday.

Hays' victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Akins, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 8-21.
