Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sahuarita). They blew past the Cholla Chargers 83-11 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Leading Sahuarita to victory were Erika Pe?a and Yaya Ortega. Pe?a dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Ortega posted seven points in addition to eight steals and six assists. Those eight steals gave Ortega a new career-high. Abby Silvester was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 12 points and four steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Sahuarita was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Sahuarita's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11. As for Cholla, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sahuarita didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 84-11 victory against Palo Verde on the 23rd. Cholla has also already played their next game (against Amphitheater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
