Softball Recap: Adna Beats Pe Ell/Willapa Valley for Their Third Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Adna had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley by a score of 13-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-5 back in March.

The victory was the third in a row for Adna, bringing their record up to 16-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.

Adna didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-6 victory against Freeman on the 24th. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-5 win against Northwest Christian School on the 24th.
