Baseball Game Preview: Ponaganset Chieftains vs. West Warwick Wizards

For the second straight game, Ponaganset will face off against West Warwick. The Chieftains will host the Wizards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ponaganset is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: West Warwick, who was ranked 11th at the time (Ponaganset was ranked 24th). The Chieftains had just enough and edged out the Wizards 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chieftains.

For West Warwick's part, Nick Andruchow made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ponaganset's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for West Warwick, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.
