After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pearland, Manvel was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the South Houston Trojans, posting a 55-16 win. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Manvel has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for South Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Manvel is taking a road trip to face off against Sam Rayburn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Manvel is facing Sam Rayburn at the right time seeing as Sam Rayburn is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for South Houston, they will challenge Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dawson will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something South Houston surely won't give up without a fight.
