Evangel Christian Academy and Peyton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. Peyton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points over those games. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Evangel Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 62-37 defeat they got from Peyton in their previous meeting back in March of 2021.
