On Friday, the Assumption Rockets beat the Owensboro Red Devils 76-68. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Assumption's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyleigh Hall, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Ashlinn James was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six steals and five assists.

Owensboro lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Keeley Harris, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. What's more, Harris also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Shalyn Sprinkles was another key player, posting 21 points.

Assumption's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Owensboro, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Assumption will host Cooper at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Assumption is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.7 points per game this season.
