Basketball Recap: Maxpreps a Starts Season with Defeat at Home

MaxPreps A unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the MaxPreps B Alpacas and fell 130-78.

MaxPreps A's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was LeBron James, who went 8-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Jordan, who dropped a triple-double with 15 points, 13 boards, and 11 assists.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: MaxPreps A beat MaxPreps B by a score of 29-19 on Monday.
