Basketball Recap: Jadyn Carreon and Jaliyah Graham Secure Win for Harlan

Harlan posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Stevens Falcons with a sharp 39-19 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-11 back in December of 2024.

Leading Harlan to victory were Jaliyah Graham and Jadyn Carreon. Graham posted 13 points and six boards, while Carreon earned three points and nine steals. Graham is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Clarania Lam was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Despite the loss, Stevens saw an underclassman step up: freshman Delia Gonzalez put up four points and three steals.

Harlan's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14. As for Stevens, their defeat was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-27.

Harlan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-33 victory against Taft on the 28th. Stevens has also already played their next game, a 97-7 loss against Brennan on the 28th.
